Thanks for sharing this recipe. I made this huat kueh 2 days ago and it is delicious! I substituted the whole milk to coconut milk and it turns out so aromatic! Think I’ll be making this more often, will try it out with sweet potato. :)

I steamed it over fire – if you have a large enough pot or pan you can just steam it. No need for microwave oven. White sugar will work as well.
